Artists 360 Announces New Cohort of Artists

Artists 360, a program of Mid-America Arts Alliance (M-AAA) made possible through the support of the Walton Family Foundation, announces the twenty artists receiving project and student grant awards. These twenty artists are the final cohort in this pilot program, and the consistent high level of applicants and awardees demonstrates the depth of the artist community in Northwest Arkansas.

Vicente Yépez is a writer and educator whose hybrid-genre writing centers on intersectional identity and the issues that affect marginalized communities in the US and Latin America. Yépez’s project Fútbol For The People is a bilingual podcast/media channel that uses narrative and conversation to generate discussion about the ethics and politics of soccer. Says Yépez, “The Artists 360 grant will allow me to purchase the gear I need so that I can not only generate high-quality content more consistently but also make my creative process more efficient. This funding will make a huge difference in allowing me to develop a sustainable workflow that can help ensure the long-term success of my project.”
