Asha Lester - Artists 360 Project Grant Recipient 2020

Project Description

For Artists360 I will host an introductory letterpress workshop for Springdale youth, teaching them traditional letterpress techniques, while using recently developed, affordable, and portable “provisional presses”. The teaching philosophy for the workshops will be influenced by Corita Kent’s book “Learning By Heart: Teachings to Free the Creative Spirit”.
