Michael Schultz has been making images for over 40 years. Self-taught, he has photographed both commercially and as a photographic artist. He is a Guggenheim Fellow whose work has centered around industrial environments, structural decay, and the morphology of land forms. His work encompasses a broad range of interests; from the motifs of labor, the architecture of industrial spaces, the dignity of human labor, the spirituality of the land, and the wonder and beauty found in abandoned structures. All of these areas are global in their scope. His works are found in a number of public and private collections.
