The Gods of Fate are Boys is a novel-in-stories-and-documents, rooted in autofiction and metafiction, which explores experiences of post-traumatic survival in women. This novel is an expansion of the thesis submitted for the University of Arkansas’s MFA program in Creative Writing and Translation.
Megan Downey is a fiction writer living in Fayetteville, Arkansas. She holds an MFA in Creative Writing from the University of Arkansas, where she received the Lily Peter and James T. Whitehead fellowship awards. She is at work on a novel.
