Jonathan Mendez is a practicing abstract visual artist working within multiple disciplines including photography, sculpture, drawing, and printmaking. Currently, he is focused on developing a body of work that blurs the lines between different forms of visual art. Jonathan is a first generation Mexican-Salvadoran student currently enrolled at the University of Arkansas pursuing a BFA with an emphasis on drawing. Jonathan was recently nominated and accepted into the prestigious Yale Norfolk program taking place this summer 2024.
