CeCe Marie is a dance educator and choreographer weaving together African American social dance forms, contemporary dance, and spoken word to craft compelling experiences. She’s directed dance programs for educational institutions, fostered adult dance communities and choreographed for esteemed organizations for a decade. Her work has been featured at the University of Arkansas, Crystal Bridges Museum, Walton Arts Center, and the Kennedy Center. With degrees in journalism and African American studies, she seamlessly integrates arts into education, earning accolades and grants. CeCe’s current projects focus on advocacy for motherhood, launching the second season of a show that reframes American history and teaching for a Walton Arts Center outreach program in fall 2024.
