Ain’t I a Woman is a one person show about a young Black woman named Nia. It takes you on an emotional rollercoaster of laughter and tears as she maneuvers through the ebbs and flows of life. With it’s poetic elements and life lessons it is truly a piece that will leave every audience member walking away with something more.
Na’Tosha De’Von is a native of Chicago IL raised in Mississippi. Na’Tosha began her journey into the arts by way of God’s design. That grew into a passion that became her life purpose. After obtaining her degree in Speech Communication and Theatre from Jackson State University, she went on to receive her MFA in acting from the University of Arkansas. Since receiving her MFA Na’Tosha has become a teaching artist, freelance poet, and a professional working actor. She can be seen locally helping to build the next generation of artists and activists of color.
